Great park along the canal. Beautiful.
The canal ride is amazing! Walking to the dam is relaxing. Bring your comfortable shoes, because the walking trails go for miles in either direction. Bring your fishing pole and fish right out of the Maumee river. Take a tour of the mill, you won't be sorry! Once you're finished, take a gander across the bridge and check out historic Grand Rapids. You can't go wrong with any restaurant you choose!
Even with the canal boat rides closed for the season, this is still a great place to enjoy nature.
I liked it a lot because there are reenactors demonstrating the canal boat's operation and a lock. It's well worth the money although it's a 45 minute ride.
